    Today, digital engagement is known to every layer of government, factored into most communications and is building a head of steam in the policy-making process.

    …was a bit strong though. Sure, there’s an excitement about digital, but not the willingness or understanding to engage properly through the medium.

    1. I do agree that the although digital engagement is well known, it isn’t well practiced. It is often factored in too late on, or treated as a fringe or token component. The job of the digital engagement specialist in government is too often that of a fire-fighter, rather than an architect.
